Join the Road Safe America Ambassador Corps
This effort involves the delivery of a packet of information to be given to each Ambassador. These materials will enable each Ambassador to make presentations to civic and school groups, as well as to contact public officials about the recognition and promotion of Drive Safer Sunday in their State.
The ROAD SAFE AMERICA Ambassador Corps is a collection of like-minded men and women volunteers who are willing to be independently responsible for the following:
- Learning the Road Safe America message
- Finding speaking opportunities in your state (Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis, high schools, etc)
- Petitioning your state Governor to make the Sunday after Thanksgiving "Drive Safer Sunday" for your state
- Serving as RSA's eyes and ears in your state
Road Safe America will provide:
- Out-of-the-box multimedia material to put on a professional presentation
- Virtual or face-to-face training on presenting this material
- Suggestions and an RSA contact for making speaking arrangements
- All necessary handouts and similar material
- "Drive Safer Sunday" step-by-step instructions
The Road Safe America Ambassador Corps is a critical element of our strategy. Having local citizens speaking out about highway safety to others is the best way to spread the message.
