Deaths and injuries that arise from a truck driver not reacting quickly enough, for whatever reason, can be prevented.

What is the solution?

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

Automatic emergency braking technology is a proven highway safety system that can and will save countless lives. After years of study and successful use by leading motor carriers, as well as a public educating effort led by Road Safe America, this technology will now be required in all new class 7 and 8 trucks!

This major safety development will save lives, prevent injuries, reduce costs, and ensure families remain whole. We thank everyone who contacted their Representative and/or Senators to support this safety measure that was passed into law on November 15, 2021.
